1. Participants 

                 7 Spanish secondary schools began "Virtual English" project in March 1998. Only 4 out of the 7 schools which initiated the project finished it. The rest of the schools had to give up due to technical and other problems. Another secondary school followed similar tasks and activities using a more traditional methodology and using no computers at all. Each of these schools worked together with a different foreign school. Partners from other countries where found through lists such as e-PALS Classroom Exchange or IECC  Intercultural E-mail Classroom Connection (visit "communicating with others" to know how to find key pals or how to announce a project).
