Electronic journals and magazines

Besides using the net as a database of authentic material, activities and other resources, you might like to read about the topic of teaching a second language, about research which is being carried out in the field, job announcements, professional development, and other stuff. There are some web and non-web sites with this aim in Internet, which allow teachers read about, let's say more theoretical issues, as well as contribute to what is being said. Most of these web sites are electronic journals and magazines which do not deal only with CMC (computer mediated communication) but with the whole area of ESL or EFL teaching and learning. Articles, book reviews, conference information, lesson plans, ESL games or exercises. Non-web sites dealing with this topic are basically discussion lists and newsgroups, which have been referred to in Communicating with others. Visit some of the most popular ESL/EFL electronic journals for teachers and students.
