1. You have read four stories. Choose two of them and summarize the idea in two or three lines by using the boxes provided for you. If possible, try and include in your summary some of the words highlighted. When you finish, be prepared to write a few more sentences in the following page.

2. When your two summaries are ready, make up (invent) 2 or 3 more ideas for each story and entwine them coherently within the story so that it is difficult to make out what is true and what is untrue in each of the stories.

 

3. E-mail the new stories to someone you know is learning English like you. Ask him/her to highlight all the details in the story which are untrue and, if he/she likes, to expand the story a little bit more.
