The educational kit "The Iberians: technical and cultural advances"
The Archaeology Museum of Catalonia has created this archive presenting the evolution of the various economical and social activities of an Iberian village, beginning with technical advances introduced to our land by colonization.
It contains reproductions of representative objects of Iberian culture and a list of additional slides with an explanatory text. The museums of Barcelona and Girona organize guided visits which focus on the Iberian culture as main subject. They also have dossiers prepared for working in a room before or after the visit.
The Iberians, princes of the West Exhibition held in the Macaia Palace in 1998, bringing together 350 major works of Iberian art. Through the exhibition we get to know about one of the most ancient and remarkable civilizations of the Iberian Peninsula.
