DISCOVER ROMANIA!

I’m a secondary student at a Spanish school and I have to write about my country. My name is Valentina. I’m from Romania and my city is called Alba-Iulia. It’s a big, beautiful town. I will write about the climate, mountains, rivers and the sites that are more visited by tourists. First, I want to tell you that my country is very beautiful. A majority of its territory is rural. The climate of Romania during autumn is rainy and a little windy. Winter is a time for short very windy days and snowy weather. People like to play with snowballs and make snowmen.

Tourist like to visit the castle of Dracula. In our country there is a legend about a man called Dracula. He was a prince of Romania who killed a lot of people and then drank their blood. But this legend is not fully true. All the world knows this legend and people want to see with their own eyes the castle where such an awful man lived.

This castle is very beautiful. But that is not all about our country. We have beautiful mountains. They are very high, with lots of vegetation. In the center of Romania you find the Carpathian Mountains.

The biggest river in Romania is the Danube. First I have to tell you that this river must cross 10 countries before arriving in Romania. After its arrival in our country it flows into the Black Sea. There we can see the most beautiful landscape in Romania. That place is the most visited by the tourists. At the Danube’s mouth we have a very pretty delta. Near that Delta we have the sea and the beaches that are full of tourists.

To conclude, I invite you to visit my country. If you ever visit it you will be very happy and you will not feel disappointed. I love Spain, but I miss it so much!
