Mosaics.
Students from fifth and sixth level (10-12 years old) looked at the geometry that appears in mosaics.
We found very nice mosaics :

This mosaic is from the wall of a house. It's all made of rhombi. |
Most of the mosaics use the square as the main figure. |

Squares and triangles were
very useful, they always fit. |

Using squares and equilateral triangles we found many possibilities. |
