In Spain there are men who kill their girlfriends or wives. But victims are not always spanish women.
Sometimes they are inmigrant women. Inmigrant women come here to work but here they find boyfriends who ill-treat them and sometimes kill them. But this doesn't happen only with immigrant women, it also happens with spanish women.
In one year there have been many murders. The last one was a girl. The police think that her boyfriend killed her, but there isn't any evidence.
Many murderers who kill their wives are now in prison but there are some who aren't in prison because the judge thinks that they aren't guilty . For example last year Serafin Cerville might have killed his girlfriend Marina. The police found a bite in the body of her girlfriend which matched Serafin's teeth but, now the judge thinks Serafin can go back home. He must visit the judge every week.
Men hit their girlfriends because the girlfriends report to the police that their husbands hit them. For example, in 1998 a man tried to kill his wife; he took a knife and he stabbed her, and  then he phoned the police. The judge reduced the sentence to only 3 and a half years in prison.
Women are scared because they feel threatened. They don't care to report their husbands. A lot of women are worried about this. Women are founding a lot of associations to prevent the murders of women. In a few cases women kill their husbands. After the crime, most men who have murdered their wives don't get a sentence. Most Men are one year in prison, and later they are in the street; others are sent to the psychiatrist. The families of the victims hate the murderers and they want them to stay in prison.
Now there are many things to help ill-treated women. For example there are organizations which help them. The organizations convince women to declare against their husbands.
Another example happened in Spain last Wednesday 19 of may.
It's a very strange case because police don't know if it's a crime or a suicide. Maica, the victim, was in her house with her boyfriend Angel. They argued and one of them went out of the room.
Later Angel heard a shot and he went to see what happened. He found his girlfriend dead, but he didn't call the police until an hour later.
Police think that it can be a crime because the don't know why he didn't call the police. Later the police found gunpowder in her hands.
Teenage Pregnancy

Girls are worried about their physique. Most girls are thin and they say that they are fat. And this is a big problem. Fat girls develop a complex because, there are only little sizes of fashionable clothes, and fat girls don't find their size. Good-looking girls with a perfect body appear in the adverts on TV and most girls want to lose weight to imitate the actresses. Some girls die of anorexy or have psychological problems, because they want to imitate the actresses and they are never happy with their body. This problem is also a consequence of a difficult life and problems with their classmates. Their classmates insult fat girls and their push away fat girls. And fat girls feel isolated. There are few boys that have this problem.
One of the most dangerous problems for female teenagers is Pregnancy.  Girls don't t hink about the consequences, only of the boyfriend they like.  They have two posibilities, to abort or to have the baby, but family and friends influence them. It's very difficult to decide the future of this baby, it's yours and it has the right to live.  They are also frightened to tell their family they are pregnant.  In one of our families two cousins had a teenage pregnancy and they had the baby but now their mothers have to look after them.
So, at  this bad age, teenagers have to be very careful if they dont want to have a dangerous problem. A baby is forever and to be a mother or a father is a very difficult task.
