Forecast for the year 2006-07

I would like to implement Art and Crafts next year 2006/2007 in Cicle Superior.

I have therefore asked the school to start teaching Art in English to year 5  because I think that  it's more likely to start year 5 than year 6. Year 6 have many different activities to carry out.

I consider this Project an Experimental Plan, so I will be learning particularly the first year.

In this sense, I propose to divide the classroom in two groups. The school is used to having different arrangements and dividing the whole group in two. We just need to adjust the timetable. Therefore teaching Art to year 5 will be four groups of 13 students.

In the future I'd like, firstly to improve this Project myself and second to adapt it for any of the levels in Key Stage 2, year 3, 4, 5 and 6. Moreover, I believe it is easy to make a simple option for key stage 1, year 1 and 2, if the school considers it interesting and teachers are trained both in English and Art.

Next year, the school has an ambitious innovative project in English, in which my project is included.
