Why this Project?

The main target of Education is to help to develop the faculties of each individual. Artistic Education is considered as a cultural value and the base for the progressive evolution of the imagination, sensibility and knowledge of the child.

Art and Design provide visual, tactile and sensory experiences and a unique way of understanding and responding to the world.
To the infants, the best information is action and personal experience. So, teachers should have to let children discover things by themselves and give them the opportunity to develop their skills. We have to consider that in art and crafts, the process of creation is more important  than the results.

The linguistic aim will be that students express themselves using English while doing art. Children will do art, in this case, using the language they are trying to learn, rather than their native language, as a tool for developing knowledge. This is thought to be a more natural, interesting and motivating way of developing language ability and that corresponds more to the way we originally learn our first language.
