Methodological aspects

Based in the CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning), what you need to consider when planning is:

- Define content and progression in knowledge and skills.
- Analyse content for language, the keywords and phrases students need to know to carry on tasks and develop the skills.
- Consider the multicultural curriculum.
- Create or adapt materials to help understanding such as visual, tactile or physical support.
- Analyse if the materials or tasks have been linguistically accessible and motivating to learners.
- Self monitoring and peer observation, record on video or ask another teacher to share feedback to discussion.

It is likely that lessons will need to be challenging cognitively with comparatively light linguistic demands.
Art-making encourages individual expression and  creative problem solving, as well as introducing tools, skills and techniques. Students can develop ideas that will make their own work unique.
