ISAVENA VALLEY SCHOOL TRIP
Last Friday, 12th of April, the Primary 6 pupils and their teachers went on a school trip to IsavenaValley. River Isavena is a tributary of River Essera and both supply water to Aragon and Catalonia’s canal.
From the coach we saw Coll de Foix aqueduct and Castillonroy siphon. Then we visited Barasona dam, Capella medieval bridge, where we had breakfast.
Later on visited Serraduy bridge, Ovarra gorge, Ovarra bridge, Obarra Romanesque monastery, Roda d’Isavena medieval village and old cathedral. There we had lunch in the nice village square.
Afterwards, we visited Roda bridge, J Costa statue in Graus, Graus Main Square, Basilica and open cloisters, the viewing point to observe the river’s confluence and Graus Gothic bridge. Finally we saw the Roman? or Romanesque? Sierra bridge and the impressive walls of Olvena gorge.
The preparation of the trip, the explanations in class, the development of the trip and the evaluation will be in English as an important part of our Interdisciplinary Project.
DAMS AND CANALS SCHOOL TRIP
On Friday, 22nd March, Primary 5th pupils and their teachers went on a school trip to see the most important constructions that take water to Almacelles.
We visited the canals confluence, Coll de Foix aqueduct, S Anna dam, connection canal, Castillonroy siphon, Barasona dam, Labitolosa Roman archaeological site, canal first little dam, Olvena gorge, Aragon and Catalonia's canal, Perera aqueduct, Sosa siphon and Irrigation Community Main Office in Binefar.
The explanations in the classroom, the excursion and the evaluation were mostly in English. Pupils behaved very well and were very interested. We had nice weather. It was a successful trip to end the 2nd school term.

BLUE AND RED
Fa uns dies els alumnes d’infantil van arribar a casa amb una piruleta de colors.
BLUE AND RED. Són els colors que hem estat treballant durant dues setmanes i aquesta és la cançó que ens hem après.
SNOWFLAKE
S’acosten les vacances i amb elles el fred. És per això que des de l’aula d’angles hem estat treballant una cançó molt hivernal que agrada a petits i grans.
Des dels alumnes de P4 i fins a 2n ens coneixem la cançó prou bé.
Gaudiu-la i canteu-la amb els vostres petits.

EL RESTAURANT DELS NENS I NENES DE 4t
En aquesta unitat hem treballat els menjars i la millor manera d’expressar el que hem après és la representació d’un diàleg.
En parelles hem elaborat un petit diàleg entre el cambrer i el client. Tota la feina ha estat molt interessant per què ens hem inventat el menu i el que voliem per menjar i per beure.
In this unit we have studied about food and the best way to show what we have learned is to role play.
In pairs we did a short dialogue between the waiter and the customer. It was a very interesting job because we have invented a menu with our favourite food and drink.
HALLOWEEN
La nit deld’Octubre és la nit de Halloween. Seguint la tradició anglo-saxona els nens i nenes de è ens hem disfressat de monstres i bruixes i hem anat classe per classe a recitar un poema de por.
També, entre tots els nens i nenes de primària, hem decorat l’escola amb pumpkins i spiders.
Ha quedat un racó molt terrorífic!!!!!
The 31st October is Halloween night. Pupils of 5th, following the english traditions, have dressed up with monsters and witches costumes. We have told a scary poem to the primary students.
We have also decorated the school. We brought lots of scary pumpkins and bats.
The Halloween corner is very frightening!!!!!

Comencem un nou curs escolar junts!!!! Aquest any tenim moltes notícies. La classe d’anglès ara és al pis de baix. Les mestres l’han decorat molt i ara és un aula molt agradable.
La classe també té un racó de biblioteca amb llibres per tots els nivells i un racó per jugar. També hi ha una pissarra digital on podrem fer moltes activitats i jocs interactius.
Segur que aprendrem molt!!!!!
Hello everyone!!!!
We start a new school year together!!!! We have got a new English class. It is very big. There are lots of posters and it looks very nice.
It has a library corner with books for everybody and a game corner where the youngest pupils can play there.
The class has got a smart board too. We could do lots of activitiesand interactive games with.
We would learn a lot!!!!!
