Textiles

Children will learn how textiles are used in their own and the lives of others. They will investigate patterns in textiles from different times and cultures.

Aims:

To create interesting surface textures.
Handle, sort and cut fabrics
Use dyes or paints to colour fabrics.
To investigate colour, shape and texture in textile material and use them to communicate ideas.
To explore the qualities of weaving using a variety of materials.
